Our Story

Hera Cashmere has been created by Hannah Lawrence as an elegant, covetable all season offering of cashmere scarves for men and women.

As a creative consultant in style and interiors, Hannah has also enjoyed a long-standing career in the fashion and luxury goods industry, working with leading global brands Jimmy Choo, Yves Saint Laurent, Helmut Lang, American Harper’s Bazaar and British Vogue.

With a keen interest in style, design, quality and sustainability, Hannah was inspired to create a new project in cashmere applying her honed PR, styling and production skills.

Hannah’s debut collection of cashmere scarves is the product of her own pared back attitude to layered dressing. Hannah brings an experienced eye with her aesthetic for sophisticated simplicity, and the desire to provide a classic cashmere wardrobe staple.

Hannah is passionate about craftsmanship, the working process of highly skilled artisans, and supporting heritage crafts.

Hera Cashmere came about through her long-standing friendship with Jane Cattani of ‘Jane Again Cashmeres’. Over years working together in the fashion industry and fuelled by a mutual desire to provide long-lasting, essential pieces for the discretely stylish, sophisticated individual with a discerning eye for quality, the duo decided to collaborate with a capsule of cashmere sweaters for men and women, that exudes a refined and elegant style with timeless appeal.

Their capsule is produced in Italy’s Umbria region by highly qualified Italian artisans, with whom Jane has worked for many years. The quality of the yarn and the skilled craftsmanship exemplifies a high level of detailing and workmanship. Every piece is made-to-order, combining leading-edge technology and a commitment to strong ethics.

Their partnership in cashmere offers both men and women the opportunity to invest in a refined and sophisticated every day piece. An exclusive and covetable, limited-edition item, designed and detailed with a knowing eye, offered in a beautifully edited colour palette.
